On 25 August 2025, DSTI-NRF CIMERA had the pleasure of celebrating our 2024 Science Writing Competition winners on UJFM Radio! This competition, ran in 2024, challenged students to translate their scientific research into their home language, showcasing not only their research skills but also their ability to communicate science in diverse languages, and most importantly, to a general audience.

 

We are thrilled to share that, out of the three winners, one student had the incredible opportunity to read her entry live on air in her home language, bringing her research to the broader community in a truly authentic and inspiring way.
