Dr Andrea Agangi

(PhD 2011, ARC-CODES – U Tasmania)

 

Main interests are igneous petrology and the relations between magmatism and ore deposition.

 

Presently working at Curtin University, Australia and collaborating as an external member of the Cimera centre of excellence.

 

Involved as part of the Cimera team in the study of Archaean gold deposits in South Africa, with a special focus on the Witwatersrand Basin.

 

Previously spent three years (2011 – 2014) as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at UJ, working on a range of aspects of Archaean geology of South Africa, including the Barberton Greenstone Belt and the Witwatersrand Basin.
